***2nd Edit:: Ed made his post public so I added it back in. I also added a new post from Lenn. I will contune to add to this list as posts come up.

Reserved Parking For "The Lovely Wife"...TLW...ROAR!
Blog Boy...
This post is one of the reasons I "Let" you marry me :)
You're just so flippin' smart. I love the idea of sending it to our Seller's.
Excellent hun. Really excellent. The epitomy of excellence.
Okay. I better stop before your head puffs up :)
TLW...ROAR!
Bryant,
Thanks for the reference...bookmarked!!! Thanks, Fran
P.S. Don't get too serious...My kids miss Blogging Bertha!!!
Bryant, great information. Thanks for condensing it for us. It makes it a shorter perusal of useful information to share.
Hun...
The more I think on it the more brilliant this idea becomes.
You Big Dog you. Woof :)
TLW...ROAR!
Sharon I certainly think you should send this out to your customer/clients. I am. In fact that's the reason I Put it together. I will be placing this post on my other blog and linkiing all my sellers to it on Monday morning.
I've been spending the last 2 dasy reading and commenting on these post. It truly is a wealth of information.
WE DON'T NEEED NO STINKING NEWS! WE ARE THE NEWS!!!!
OK, Where did the lines come from.
BB, Thank you for putting this together so we can track on it and share. Some of the posts are members only.
BB,
Great idea! I've bookmarked it to read and then send on to my sellers.
Thanks for your help!
Lucky :)
BB - when I first saw this post, it was featured, and now it's not. Wonder why that happened?
I was glad to see this compilation as each of those posts are excellent, and I love your idea of sending this to clients and potential clients.
Ann
Bryant
There's no need for my post to be members only. I'll make it available to the public.
BTW - This post was a great idea.
Randy was on his soap box....I'll attest to that :)
I have to go read....if it's one thing I love is more info!
Where's my comment? I thought I commented earlier. I'm getting punchy.
BTW, I send yesterday's posts to the buyer I'm working with this month. He put a lot hold on a new home site today.
We're looking at a new home that priced out at $940,000. Last year the same home would have been $1,050,000.
WOW...This is a lot of great information. Thanks for taking the time to compile this. Do you ever wonder how many really good posts go unnoticed? A lot of these slipped right by me. It's like a bookstore...wonder how many really good books are there that people don't know about?
Well your gold star is back! GOOD!
Ann
Great post, all of them!
I've bookmarked them.
Thanks
BB,
I've read a bunch of these. Now I'll be able to get to the rest. Thanks.
Bill Roberts
I am trying to keep my links updated too. I wrote it mainly for people in my market to understand our market vs all others. This is amazing how it has spun off! Thanks for including my posts and pointing me to some that I missed !!
You are right, we ARE the news. How sad is it that NV's foreclosure website has had less visits in three weeks than my blog post in 24 hours?
BB - this one took some work too. It's interesting, we've been here long enough now to recognize all of the excellent writers on your list here, and am glad to see Ed first. His is a great story.
Cheers
Bryant:
I had to keep it "Members Only" because of the generally negative view, short-term of California real estate. I felt it was more appropriate for professionals and not for the general public.
Thanks for thinking of me; understand that I do want to protect our community's online image to the consumer
Well good morning everyone! You guys were busy last night. I've decided to make this post an ACTIVE document and will be adding articles to it as they come up. That way we will have a resource that addresses the current issues in our markets.
So if you write anything or see anything that should be in here please come back and leave it in the comments section. I'm adding a couple right now.
There is NO issue with linking to these posts in an email to your customer/clients. As long as they are public posts we can link to them.
What you may want to do with this one is copy and paste the post (just the list) into an email. That way it won't have my smiling face. When your customer/clients clicks through to read the individual authors the article will have that authors branding on it.
Certainly feel free to use it.
BB,
Good List of Posts! I still see some I need to Read :0) But i'm on it..
I like that ...."Active" document.
I have read a few of these...okay, information galore and always can educate more! (hey, that rhymed)
Thanks...will go read a LOT I missed.
And I just realized I commented already. that's okay.
I'm getting a head cold...crap.
It's amazing how much we all can learn by looking at other perspectives. I think placing these as an opportunity for clients is extremely brilliant, not only does it show that we are not know it all's but it provides our clients with valuable resources.
BB- The mess has far reaching tenacles. As you know, Levitt and Sons filing Chapter 11 leaving 5 major lender hanging for millions on the Turtle Creek subdivision here in Osceola County, is just another fatality in the firestorm of mortgage defaults. 735 homes-unsold. Deeply troubling, is if the 800 pound gorilla (Levitt & Sons) can fall off the mortgage empire state building, the little guy has even less of a chance to cling on.
As more and more lenders, take back properties, and are still unwilling to reset loans, troubled homeowners (even those with good credit) will find the fight futile. I am seeing professional people, giving up the battle with the banks. With equity depleated, to negative numbers, competing builders selling off inventory homes at just above cost, and owners of resales between a rock and hard place, buyers are too fearful to take the leap even if the necessity for buying a home may be present.
OK I just added another great post from Mike Jones.
This is quite the resource we have here.
BB,
Have you ever heard of such a mess before? Could this be true?
Lucky :)
I have two cases of court documents sitting in my office backing-up every claim in the post (in due time I'll have many of them on the web at http://allreaders.net/allrealty.html). The post actually comes from my Active Rain blog The Creel Deal at:
http://activerain.com/blogsview/285307/Loans-Lie-s-and
I didn't bother loggin in when I posted it. I have no desire to protect the names of the criminals that did this to her, so you may zap the post. No hard feelings.
OK I decided to delete Michael's comment. Only because I didn't like having the names of the victims and perps on my post. However, it is a very interesting situation relating to fraud and how it affects people lives. So, here's the link to the article on Michael's own blog.
http://activerain.com/blogsview/285307/Loans-Lie-s-and
BB, I wrote another take on the mess What Mortgage Crisis?
Please take a look at it. If you think it belongs with the rest go ahead and include it.
Thanks
Bill Roberts
I'm sad you felt that way.
I married the "victim" long ago, because she is the finest person I've ever met in my life. The "perp" has been banned from participating in the mortgage business "in any manner" for 10 years; but I'm quite sure he appreciates people such as yourself that look out for him.
There's two ways to go through life Bryant, the first is "afraid".
I don't fault you for falling into that group; because millions do. Personally, years ago I chose to go down the other road; I decided to do the right thing and help people, and I've never once regretted it, or faced litigation for it. It's a pleasure you will never know.
Thanks for this tutorial on the mortgage crisis. This is a thorough analysis of the issue and worthy of a feature. I appreciate all you do.
Hey, by the way, I was doing something that someone told me was against the AR guidelines. I would thank you and others for leaving me a comment and include a link to the post on which you commented. I did it to remind people of the post they commented on.
I didn't know that some consider that advertising my blog. So, my apologies...
Michael,
We can all see your passion with this issue and can only imagine what everyone went through. No one thinks that the guilty parties should be let off the hook.
Bryant's position should not be looked upon as "afraid" because he chooses not to bear the cross that you have chosen to bear. He does so much for his local community as well as his profession and the Active Rain community as a whole. He has chosen to bear many crosses for the sake of others and I'm sure has received plenty of pleasure from helping thousands out along the way.
You may agree to disagree with him and anyone else's position. You DO NOT, however, have the right to question another's character by telling them that they go through life "afraid". This is a personal attack and crosses the line.
Please do not take your frustration of this case out on innocent people.
Thanks,
Lucky :)
Dan, No problem my friend. Your link did not bother me in the least.
Lucky, It is unfortunate that Michael chose to take something so simple and turn it into an attack on my character. Oh....well such is life. Thanks for covering my back.
Lucky...
Thank you. I was going to ROAR but you beat me to it :)
TLW...ROAR!
Bryant - haven't had much time to read these last few days...somehow I missed this terrific compendium of mortgage information. What a great resource - now bookmarked. Thanks for taking time to put it together.
Jeff
