We are considering it for a rental property we have, but quite honestly it scares me a little.  Our Realtor actually recommended an Installment Sale.  Just starting the process, so I don't fully understand all the options yet.

Being on the mortgage side, I was never a fan of Owner Financing... but not because it wasnt a good deal, but just because I would prefer to close the deal... HOWEVER... I recently had a client that we could not finance (no one could because of their credit). I matched her with a Realtor that in the area to look for a good lease while they work on their credit. Turns out that they found a GREAT house that happened to offer Owner Financing. Worked out fantastic... so now I am a big fan of the option. :-)

John. Owner financing can be a very good deal for buyers and sellers. You'll be seeing a lot more of this in the near future. There are so many folks who have damaged their credit with short sales and foreclosures but who are otherwise very good with teir finances. They hare perfect candidates for seller financing.

That's a lovely home and great photos.  You don't mention the price (or did I miss it?), but for someone with enough cash for the down, this would make a wonderful move-in ready home.  Nice.
